ok, this is a devils advocate post. i do not need any convincing on the merits of longboard sailing/surfing. i am however about to launch a little informational-educational campain on some European forums regarding lonboarding and would like some help. i of course have my own reasons and argument as to why this is a fantastic way to windsurf but i would like to know what feelings you have regarding this sport so i can build a stronger case around it. so go ahead and tell why you love it ! keep in mind that in Europe most sailors will be sailing in flat water with probably only a small portion going in mushier waves (windswell) and that when the waves get a little better (because the wind got stronger) they will turn to their shortboards. so most of it will be done in flat water. so, unless you're a beginer, why longboard sail in flat water ? thanks for the help and wish me luck in trying to unprogram decades of "if you're not planing, you're not windsurfing" brainwashing.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
